So. Tim threw a fit at me. He kinda-sorta reads my blog when I make him do it. One of those days that I turned the computer in his direction and said “READ THIS OR I’LL BUST YOUR MOUTH OPEN!” he did the unthinkable. I didn’t expect him to go reading every post I’d ever [...]
A look into my reasoning for being sloppy and unkempt. Tanning Beds: What’s the point? Yeah sure, you get some vitamin D, but why not just take the vitamin and avoid the burn, peel, back to pasty cycle? Tweezing Eyebrows: Whats the point? They’ll just grow back in a day or two and I’ll have [...]
I’m sitting here thinking about how I leave gooey lung chunks all over the screen of my laptop when reading my favorite blog. It makes me laugh to the point where I start hacking and gagging and crying. For normal people laughter is the best medicine. For me? Not so much with the smoker’s cough. Tell [...]
This is my first attempt at what I’m going to call Tag-tastic Thursday. I ask for random words on Wednesday, and every Thursday I will take my best shot at making a post out of those words. Then I will tag the words and the people who offered them in the post. How fun is that? [...]
I am a stay-at-home-mom of two toddler boys, and a baby girl. I tend to stray away from the housewife title because, well, if you could see the house you would know. I think I'm an okay wife for the most part, and I try to be a great mother. I have recently become a fan of blogging and I have found that there is a great sense of community that goes along with it. An added bonus. I love those! I love my life and wouldn't trade it for the world, but just like anybody else in this field, there are many times when I've just had one of those DAYS.
Project:Purse and Boots is a gathering together of the women's blogging community to celebrate life while raising money to help fight the devastating consequences of cerebrovascular disease.
The purse travels across the country, inspiring a women's night out full of fun, frivolity and trashy dressing.
Sponsors pledge money for each stop the purse makes. So each event that allows people to rest, play and care for themselves earns money to decrease the risk they will have to assume harsher caregiving later.
So please pledge to Project:Purse and Boots and help us keep our parents, partners, loved-ones and ourselves healthy for a long, long time.
