About

I honestly believe the biggest reason I decided to start this blog is because I need something to do during my “breaks.” Some people plagued by the boring break time take up smoking but since, to my dismay, I adopted that hobby long ago, I’m still bored. I tried reading but after I read all the Stephanie Plum novels including all the “between” books, nothing else has struck me as anything but a waste of good brain power.

Then I thought to myself: “Self, you can’t remember anything! Your memory is useless! Maybe it’s from reading all those silly books! Maybe you should start a journal or something.” And then the lightbulb came on. The reason I’ve never been able to keep up with a journal is because either I lose the darn thing or I lose interest. My kids and their shenanigans are pretty interesting so “journaling” them is WAY more fun and maybe I can stick with it. I might even throw in something about myself and what I’m up to every now and again.  An added bonus would be somebody seeing it and enjoying it, but mostly it’s a way for me to remember things since apparently I have a hard time with that.

Oh my goodness, you read all the Stephanie Plum novels? Me, too! (Except for the in-between-the-numbers, because they are so hard to get in Germany, but I’m getting there). Just stumbled upon your blog via the Lady Blogger Tea Social, but actually AFTER I had been socialising (I justed wanted to go back and have a look at my badge, because I wasn’t sure how it would turn out). Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. Have a good weekend!

Yes, yes I have. They are my absolute, all-time faves, and I read all of them in chronological order in the same number of days as there are books in the series. I cannot wait to get my hands on #16.

I’m really glad you stopped by. I hope you have an exceptional weekend, as well!

I read the first two chapters this morning. It’s HILARIOUS! You should go and get, I bet it’s going to get even better!

I really don’t know how I missed this comment.

I had NO IDEA it was even out yet. I thought it was coming out in July for some reason. Anyway, off to Hastings I go even though I have a killer migraine. Can’t go another day without it knowing it’s available. THANKS!!!

Well, I hope it is out. Should be, because it is in Germany and usually the German version gets published a little after the original version. Hope you get it!

Thanks! They are the best aren’t they? I’m working on 16 right now. Look for the book report in the near future ;)

Hi, I read your profile, and I”m with you. Blogging has changed my life…I can’t imagine or would want to live without it …ever again.

It means that much to me.

I’ve thought about what it would be like without it, and it just feels like a huge loss. I would honestly grieve. Even if everybody stopped reading and commenting, I think I would still do it. It’s such a good way to let stuff go without fear of judgement or rejection. It means a lot to me, too.
